"A dream come true”
Young Palace fans watching their heroes bring home the FA cup in May 2025

MICHELLE WALL

"Amy, Dog Walker"
Since Michelle Wall started to photograph in early 2024, she has been interested in photographing in the local community. In last year's CPAOH exhibition she showed photographs of scarecrows from her local allotments. This year, with increased knowledge and confidence, she has progressed to taking portraits of people, for example, a series of portraits of fellow dog walkers whom she encounters on her daily dog walk in Addiscombe Recreation Ground.

THIBAULT DUFUTEL

"In Camera"
Thibault Dufétel started photography in earnest four years ago but was known before that to document his travels obsessively, with a phone or disposable camera. He still uses a small Canon G15, so he never misses  the opportunity of a shot. His work engages with hidden patterns in places and landscapes, and seeks to highlight the unworldly quality of otherwise familiar sights.

Marked by histories of occupation and oppression, the half
island called the Curonian Spit is home to multicultural communities and part Russian, part Lithuanian territory. The Curonian Spit National Park is also a UNESCO world heritage site with pine forests and nearly 100 km of largely undisturbed sand beaches, a bird migration corridor and a unique natural habitat rich in wildlife.

KERENSA SHIEL

"Standing Tall - Overlooking Bryce Canyon, October 2024"
Kerensa Shiel first fell in love with taking pictures at the age of seven, when she got her first camera, but never pursued it creatively. She recently picked it up again to explore photography with more intent and joined Palace Park Photography in November 2024. She is especially drawn to unusual perspectives and moments that evoke emotion, creating art through light, shapes, and stillness. This photograph was taken during a recent trip to the US, where the landscapes left her feeling small yet deeply connected to the earth's raw beauty. She set out to capture their scale, silence, and the striking shapes carved by time and nature.

"Church"
Over the last year, Tom Cox’s practice has moved further towards documentary photography, blending street photography with landscape, environmental and abstract styles. His work evokes a moody and often unsettling atmosphere that aims to intrigue and beguile, drawing awareness to the beauty and chaos of urban environments and those daily surroundings that hide in plain sight. He is currently working on a project documenting the city of Bristol, its people and its underlying cultures.

"Myopia"
London Zoo, August 2025
The okapi is a shy, solitary, elusive animal that lives among dense Congolese cover and loves to browse on leaves, fungi, and fruit, and certainly dislikes being housed in a cage next to the dancing bear, and the penguins wearing hats.

"Arles, 2025"
Lucy Lambe is still new to photography. She started last year with an old film camera from her father-in-law and is now getting to grips with digital photography. She likes to find moments of interesting shadow, colour or humour, and finding time to be creative in between family and work.
